2015 – Year of the Waterfall?

2015 may be the Year of the Goat, but in Seattle Landscape Architect Brooks Kolb’s world, it’s the year of the waterfall.  Brooks currently has five waterfalls and ponds on the boards, in communities as diverse as Anacortes, Bellevue, Redmond, Medina and Seattle.  Whether it’s the sound of water rushing over rock or the dazzle of white water splashing against stone that most attracts them, residential clients are keenly enthusiastic about enlivening their gardens with waterfalls small and large.  One client’s steep and tall waterfall will be viewed front and center from the kitchen sink where they do the dishes.  Another’s large, tranquil pond will reflect tall windows rising above wide rapids that drop only two feet to a lower pond.  A third client’s waterfall will wrap around a natural stone hot tub.  Look for new images of these water features in the month’s to come and call Brooks at 206 324-0858 if you too would like a waterfall in your garden!McCleskey waterfall sketch croppedWaterfall Concept for An Anacortes Garden
